Missing emails

I was searching for an email tonight and cannot find it - I have noticed though I have no emails in the inbox from 5th April - 29th June. I've been unsuccessful at contacting email support so thought I'd ask here if anyone has had similar issues ?

Yahoo has a history of randomly deleting emails from your Inbox. There's a small chance of recovering them if you try this: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/sln2552.html

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I tried but as you said it was a long shot. It's so frustrating not knowing what you've lost !

You might want to give some thought to setting up a new address at somewhere like Gmail (Google) or Outlook.com (Microsoft) where issues like this do not occur, at least they don't for me.
