Leaving sky and wish to retain email address

Unfortunately after 33 years of loyalty to Sky I am leaving next month. However I've had my email address for a long time and wish to retain it. I have spoken to Sky and they say I can keep my email address but I'm just checking how I would access this. Would I just go onto the sky website and select yahoo email and then log into it or is there something else I need to do please?

@Chery4 I believe as long as you log in regularly the address stays live. I have moved your post to the email forum where the experts on the email system hang out.

Yes, you can do that. I doubt it will be an issue for you, but you need to log in at least once a year to keep your Sky Yahoo Mail account active.

You will continue accessing your email just as you do now, nothing should change.

So how do you currently access your email??

I either log in on my phone or on a laptop through sky. Will this still keep me logged in automatically or do I have to log into my account a different way. On a laptop I tend to log into my Sky account and then email but assuming I go onto Sky and then just select yahoo mail. Is that right?
