Email folders not showing in Apple Mail on ipad

In sky yahoo web email I created subfolders under a new Inbox folder. Recently these subfolders mostly disappear from the Apple Mail app on my iPad & iPhone but sometimes they reappear. However, when they do occasionally appear there is no content. I experimented creating one of the subfolders as a new folder and moving the emails from the subfolders into the new folder. This worked, however it breaks the rational of organising emails into subfolders which works satisfactorily with other email apps. Can this be fixed, after all it did work previously.

Do they display correctly if you log in here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email ?

If so, it's probably an (..other) issue with Apple's Mail app, rather than Sky Yahoo Mail.

Thanks. I agree the most obvious explanation is the issue is with the Apple Mail App however the same issue is not replicated with my Hotmail account where the sub folders created on the website are always viewable in the Apple Mail App and each subfolder is populated with emails moved to those folders. And as previously mentioned this is a recent problem.

Interstinhgly, there is no problem in this regard with the Apple Mail app on my MacBook Air.

Personally I really don't think you should.

The system folders are not supposed to be used for personal folders, thats what the folders tab is for.
