Spam email messages being downloaded to Outlook

I have recently added my sky email address to my Outlook on my PC & a folder has been set up called BULK all of my spam emails are going to this folder is there anyway of stopping these email coming into my Outlook as I can't seem to delete the BULK email folder.

I can delete the individual emails in the BULK folder but this then goes into my trash & I would rather that these emails do not even get downloaded onto my PC.

There is no way of stopping Outlook from showing the contents of the Bulk folder, as that is the equivalent of the Spam folder on Sky, and as a system folder you can't delete it.

If you don't want to see those emails, just don't look in the folder, however you should check it occasionally in case of any "false positives", that is emails incorrectly identified as spam.

Will the emails automatically delete out of the bulk folder in 30 days if I don't open them?

Yes they should regardless of you looking at them or not as Yahoo empties that folder every 30 days which is why it is always worth looking in ncaae any actual emails end up in it in error.
