Inbox does not show emails older than 30 days.

Emails are not being sent to Spam or any other folder. I have checked filter setttings and there is nothing about date/age of emails. I cannot find any option for changing the age of emails visible in my inbox. My sent items shows emails sent in more than 30 days ago.

Are you using a mail app? Some (Gmail for example) limit their Inbox content.

My wife also has an inbox and her emails, thousands of them full of bargain offers and shopping updates, go back years....

Hi thanks for that. i have submitted a "recover lost email" request but I don't hold out much hope - the emails weren't "deleted" strictly speaking, and we are talking about >7 days.

How exactly do you view your emails? Do you possibly use POP to access you emails, as some POP clients (for instance Outlook) are set to delete emails older than 30 days.

I don't think it's a POP access. I hev been accustomed to viewing mey emails on multiple devices, including emails much older than thirty days. My wife uses a sky email address via Yahoo! mail which we have both used for years - she can still see emails going back 10 years.

The "restore emails" request has worked - restoring LOTS of emails - including all the ones I DID want to delete. I suppose I'll have to wait another 30 days now to see whether those are retained in my inbox.

Glad you have them back but I will say it is probably best to keep saved emails in separate folders to keep them in as while you can't say this will happen there to from experience on here it does seem to happen with the inbox more that other folders.
