Have not been able to receive e-mails - have changed e-mail but still no messages from yahoo for sometime - code is sent somewhere but not to my mobile number that has never changed =never been able to access this code

So your issue is that you are not receiving the verification text, if so then did you make a note of the recovery code as advised to do so as you can use this to sign in and turn this off.

If you do not have access to the number then all you can do is to call Sky and hope you get to someone that knows about this, there could be a 72 hour wait in the process being followed through.

Thanks forresponse - had tried to get this resolved some time ago but no changes - cannot remember if ever received number to use as never required this in past.

The recovery code did appear onscreen when you set up 2 step verification as it asked you to both make a note and if you can forward the email with it to another non Sky email account.

If you don't have access then you will need to call Sky and don't let them tell you that you will have to go to Yahoo as they can not help with Sky email account issues such as this.
