Sky Yahoo Email been compromised

Good afternoon,

I have reason to believe that my Sky Yahoo email has been compromised. I have tried to change my password, but it is saying my security question answers are incorrect... they are not. I believe that these have been changed.

Have you responded to any emails that have said they have come from Sky and that you need to access a link in it to keep your account active ?

What happens when you login here, what message are you seeing:

If you're unable to change your password yourself, you'll have to give Sky a call, I'm afraid.

Thanks for your reply. When I click on the link, it opens my emails. What I can't do is change my password as the security questions have been changed

As long as you can log into your account, you can reset the security questions and your recovery phone number.

Go here: https://www.sky.com/mydetails/sky-id and you should have options to change both.

For me, it only enables me to change my SkyID name, email address and password.

I wonder if it's because I tried to link directly to the page.

Use this link for "My details" https://www.sky.com/mydetails and follow the "Manage Sky ID" option. Do you then get the extra options?

It allows me to change my security questions as does this direct link:

YES! This has let me change my password, thank you. Not my security questions though, but at least my password has changed so the other person now can't get access. Thank you

It might also be worth checking these as well:

Go to Settings (the screw icon on the right hand side) > More Settings > Filters and remove anything that you did not setup.

Then go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Reply-to address

And again remove anything here that you did not setup.

It's only giving me the change your password option? Maybe because I'm on my phone. I'll try on a laptop, thank you

No, neither this or the direct link @caesarome posted gives me the option to change security info. Maybe I don't have anything set up. I can't add them either - I don't get any option to manage the security question at all. Odd.

So neither of you get the security question option when you go here: Sky - Reset your password

If so, that is very strange, I don't think anyone has mentioned that before.

Morning, no I haven't responded to any emails from Sky. When I click that link, I can log into my emails. I just can't amend my security questions and I believe that my account has been compromised and someone else has been accessing my emails.
