Delegate access to emails

I'm due to have major surgery this week and the outcome of this is unknown. I'm trying to pass as much information to my husband as I can so that he can manage our affairs if this is needed but everything comes directly to my email address. Is it possible to set up for my husband to have delegate access to my emails should the need arise?

Can you not give your husband your login details or change the email address on all sites to his that send you emails ?

In terms of simply accessing my emails, this would be an option but I guess I'm also kind of thinking about him having the authority to manage my email account if I'm not able to do that myself.

Unfortunately changing the email address isn't an option because there simply isn't enough time to be able to contact everyone - this surgery was not expected. Especially when many of our contacts only email once or twice a year for renewal etc. so would likely get missed. I just thought if he could have a proxy access set up it would make sure he can sort things if I'm not around. Just trying to get everything as organised as possible for him in the couple of days that I have.

Sadly you are limited with a Sky Yahoo email account as to what you can do as the only option available is to have replies to emails you have sent being sent to another email address so your husbands but that apart there is no option to forward all emails you receive to his.

Is his email address also a Sky one or is he with someone else because if y=he is with someone else you might be able to do it via his email address and have it collect your emails.

You can do this for a Gmail account as I also have a Gmail account and I have it collect my Sky emails, so if you need help with setting this up post back here and we can talk you through it.
