Emails in Sky Yahoo not opening

I have a new high spec Samsung laptop running Chrome and Edge. This problem happens on both.

When I try to open an email I just get the revolving circle. Switching to Yahoo's basic mail solves the problem, but I cannot get it to run consistently in the standard version.

Help would be appreciated.

Are you logging in via an app, or here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email ?

If you're using an app, do emails open correctly if you log in via the above link?

Do you have any extensions or add ons installed via either of those browsers that could be causing the page from stopping to load ?

Extensions are Control Panel for Twitter, Rapport (for Santander banking) McAfee and Quidco. None has caused problems before.

And the problem is back this morning. Grrrr.

I've tried the two sign-ins suggested above, but with no success I'm afraid. I fully expect it to be working fine later on today for no apparent reason! That's what happened before.

Yes I've tried them and they haven't worked. I've spoken with chatgpt, my next step is to check my anti virus which I will do later this evening and report back. Thanks.

It's not an error message. I can get into my inbox and see the emails, but the preview pane to the right won't load. It's just a spinning blue circle.

Try clearing your browsers cache and cookies then close down the browser before loading it up and trying again. If this doesn't work try a different browser works to see if that works for you.

Thanks, I've done all those and it had no effect. Edge was the same too. But like what happened to the fella before, it has suddenly started working fine now. I have no idea what the glitch was but all seems okay now.

It's now a year later and it still happens to me! Only when first opening the browser. If you leave it for a while it sorts itself out and is fine for the rest of the day. If you can just put the lid down on the laptop and leave it overnight, it works fine from the word go the next day.
