i have got a mac - using the mail icon , with a yahoo emaill address , but everyime i send a email with an attachment it wont send - but without an attachment it will any ideas !

Looks like a problem with Apple's Mail app then, I'm afraid. A number of issues with the app have been reported here over the last 12 months or so. I'd recommend using a different email app.
