Sky mail interaction with Yahoo

Sky emails are slow coming through bur are fast if I go onto Yahoo mail direct. ALSO error message SERVER CODE "Limit" "cannot get mail Authenticate Rate limit. do I do??

How do you access your emails are you using an app and by "go onto Yahoo Mail direct" do you mean you login to Sky.com or you are then using the Yahoo email app. ?

I only use Sky mail unless it doesnt work. I then access Yahoo mail via their app om my phon or on my MAC desktop if I want to see an ugent mail.

My desk apple mac computer. Via sky mail. Which i believe fronts or liks to Yahoo mail.

I don't know what you mean by 'Sky mail'. Are you logging in via sky.com using your browser?

Yes i guess so. My whole house is Apple. Every bit of technology is from Sky. Apart from Alexa.

That link opens Yahoo directly ok. The mail I access via Safari says Connection Loging Enabled but doesnt work at all. I had to go to Yahoo to pen and read your message.

The link I posted takes you directly to your email account so what browser are you using if it Safari then this is your answer, use this link instead of doing it whatever way you were trying to access your account.

It's still very difficult to understand what you are saying, if you use @caesarome's link, that will open in Safari. (on apple)

You are helping A 74 year old non techi person. If I could send some screenshots it may help to explain what isn't happening. I can see all my emails instantly on Yahoo mail but they take 15mins to be seen using what I call sky mail. May be I am calling it the wrong name. I can live with the suggested work around and thanks for your assistance guys.

I suspect when you say you are using "Sky mail" you are actually using Apple's Mail app.

Unfortunately that is known to have a problem accessing Sky email, usually resulting in "server not responding" errors.

There is currently no known way to resolve the problem, so using the link to the webpage is probably the best we can recommend.
