Hacked email account

My sky.com email account was hacked in December 2024 , I have spoken to numerous staff at Sky to try and get it reinstated as Yahoo suspended it due to maliciuos activity , which is a good thing , especially as Yahoo has itself been hacked a number of times.

It appears that there are very few people at Sky who have permissions to speak to Yahoo abour reinstated my email account , I really need this account back as it has been used for 14 years and holds many required emails.

I have been promisesd a number of times it will be fixed and it never is , even promised a phone call on a certain date at a certain time , but never contacted me.

It is a state of despair trying to reinstate my email , which really should be straightforward.

Can someone please please help , after 8 hours of phonecalls over a month I am now desperate.

It is unlikely your account was hacked as it is possible that in error you received a link in a scam email that you resounded to.

Ignorng your email account can you access your Sky account via Sky.com or is this also restricted because if it is when you can Sky again just mention that your Sky account is blocked.

The message reads ,

Sky Yahoo mail has been suspended.

Contact sky to reinstate your email.

I have contacted sky numerous times , my sky account is normal , just my email , apparently yahoo only give sky a certain number of physical things they are allowed to access , yahoo will not talk to me and sky cannot get permission to reinstate .

I am quite proactive with emails and always have a good antivirus with addons for phishing and matware

If you think your sky email is safe , just Google has Yahoo mail been hacked.

You will be amazed at the number of times and the billions of accounts already hacked.

I have gone through all my previous emails and found nothing obvious , I am quite astute in that area

Yes, we've seen that before:

And it does apparently require some liaison between Sky and Yahoo to reinstate it, as the suspension is applied by Yahoo, not Sky.
