email problem

Hi I have just joined sky but my email is linked to my husbands account, its a seperate house and account number, he has his own email now and stopped using mine, but every time i try to create account it will not let me on my email, how do I unlink my email from his account getting no where chatting feel like cancelling the whole thing its so frustrating

You can't, I'm afraid.

If I've understood correctly from your post the cause of this, your husband would need to unlink your email address from his Sky account. It's probably simpler for you to create a new email address and use that for your SkyID.

It'a a bit difficult to understand your problem.

You say you have joined Sky, but can't create an account, so I don't see how you could have joined if you don't have an account.

Presumably you have a Sky email address, however Sky don't allow Sky addresses to be used to create accounts as it would cause problems recovering the account later, should you lose access. (they will send a recovery code to the email address, but you won't be able to get it as you have lost access)

You will need to get an email address from someone else (Outlook and Gmail addresses are free) and use that to create the account.

If I've misunderstood the problem, please explain in detail, just what you need to know.

The question here is, has he removed your email address from his account by changing it to his own one as doing so should then allow you to use your email address when creating your own Sky ID if this is what you are trying to do,
