Cannot successfully sign in to Sky Yahoo email

This problem is with my husband's android phone. When he taps the 'sign in' command at the top right hand side followed by the 'little person' icon the Yahoo mail choice just flicks to a blank page each time?

If not can he try using a different web browser to whatever the one he is currently using.

It's a little difficult to understand just what you mean.

is he trying to add the sky email to his phone, or has it worked up till now, and has just failed?

Is he using an app, or a browser as @caesarome suggests, and if an app just which one?
