I have sky yahoo email on my phone but recently my phone screen smashed so couldn't see emails. I logged in on my laptop and it needed a sky verification code which is sent to my phone but couldn't see my phone. How can I bypass this as I was going round and round in circles and just could not access my emails until my phone screen was fixed. I even phoned sky and they couldn't give me an answer and just gave a waffle answer. Any ideas please as can't go through this again 🙂

When you setup two step verification you were sent a recovery code that you were asked to save and keep safe so you now need to use this. So at the login select "can't sign in with the code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.

Then you are stuck as you will have to contact Sky but it can take up to 21 days to get your access back:

Do you know the year this started as I probably still have the email as I'm bad for deleting emails.

I believe it was last year that two step verification was first started.

If you no longer have the recovery code, but have regained access to your phone, you can turn the 2FA off.
