Emails not downloading

I constantly get this when trying to look at emails.....

Message not downloaded from the server. It is annoying as there are often important documents that I need to look at. I have checked my settings and everything looks ok. I have checked my broadband and Wi-Fi connection through the sky checker and they say everything is working ok.

What else can I do?

I am using the Mail app on an iPad

There have been intermittent problems with the Mail app for months. That may be the cause of the failure to download. It doesn't look like Apple are going to fix it anytime soon, so you might want to consider using a different app, such as Outlook or GMail or logging in online here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email
