E-mails from my contacts

Over the past few months, I have been receiving e-mails (which thankfully are going direct into spam) from friends on my e-mail list. One has been from a deceased person and whose e-mail address I deleted. Has anyone else had the same problems please and if so, how can I stop receiving them.

@Brenda+Walsh Are these being sent from external email accounts rather then from your account? If so you can't do anything to stop them being sent anymore than someone can stop you from sending emails.

It sounds as though, at some point, your Sky Yahoo Mail account may have been compromised and a scammer is responsible for the emails you're receiving. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend changing your password.

They are coming from an external account, different ones.

I did change my password a while ago, but will change it now.
