Sky emails not coming through to iPhone and iPad.

I've been having problems recently with emails from Sky Yahoo email account not coming through to my iPhone 12 or my iPad Air Gen 4. All software is up to date. Also taking ages to sync between iPhone and iPad.

It used to work perfectly.

If you are using the email app on both devices then there have been reported problems for a while now that Apple don't seem to be in a hurry to fix so it might either be worth installing another app like Outlook or logging in here online to access your account instead:

Thank you @caesarome . I've been doing that for months now and I have other email accounts which I can use however it would take ages to change all of the businesses/contacts to whom I've given my Sky email address. Thank you for trying to help though.

@caesarome isn't suggesting you use a different email account, but rather access your existing Sky Yahoo Mail account either online or via a different email app, such as the Outlook app.

You can access your Sky Yajoo Mail account via the Outlook app, rather than via Apple's Mail app as you currently are.

Hi, Yes, ok thank you @ Mark39. I'm currently working on that ; it's not going well......but I will persevere. Apologies to all for my confusing and incomplete reply!
I think it's might easier to gradually migrate contacts etc to one of my other email accounts.....probably iCloud ......no excuse for not getting these on my iPhone etc!!!🤞😅 Or I might migrate to Samsung!
It's just very frustrating that something that worked perfectly no longer works ; and a workaround has to be found at considerable inconvenience to users.

It feels as if Yahoo & Apple need to work together to resolve this or at least advise users of the issue and what is being done. Moan over!
At least I know now that others have been experiencing the same problem.

I've downloaded the Yahoo app and am getting emails now (and a lot of ads/notifications sadly....which I will look into). But at least I'm easily able to access my emails now. I've also linked Gmail but sadly iCloud account won't link.

Another app you can use to access your emails is the Outlook if yoh want an alternative to the Yshoo mail one.

Thank you @caesarome . I'll probably stick with Yahoo as I'm getting emails now and I will gradually get it sorted out. Google says linking iCloud can be done so I will persevere!
