Does Sky Talk Shield ever work

Been trying to activate Sky Talk Shield as part of our Broadband and Sky Talk contract package for over a year. It has never worked and always ends up with a general Sky message about working on the issue. Has anyone successfully activate this service or os it a marketing scam?

@RowenaH it works fine for many, but there's a long outstanding fault which affects some customers, resulting in an error when you try to access it.

You can turn Call Screening on and off and add numbers to your Star and Blocked lists via your phone handset as an alternative to accessing the Shield online: https://www.sky.com/help/sky-talk/sky-talk-features/sky-talk-shield/articles/sky-talk-shield-using-star-and-block-lists
