Any update on using a Fritzbox for Phone?

I've seen other threads regarding it's not possible to use a fritzbox with Sky's Internet Calls.
Alot of those are dated close to or over 2 years ago at the current moment. So I'm just checking incase there has been any update on it.

I'd prefer to use my existing FritzBox instead of the Sky hub as I was getting constant Ping/ICMP drop outs and Network stuttering often resulting in 700ms network drop outs when wired with the sky hub, Fritzbox works perfectly with 0 issues but it's only phone that is the hold back so felt like I'd ask incase the previous information has changed.

Has there been any change to the stance of Sky hub only for Sky Internet calling, or can we use third party routers supporting Telephony now?

So far as I'm aware, the only router which can provide access to Sky's internet calling service continues to be Sky's broadband Hub.

Any non-Sky router would need to be manually configured for Sky Talk Internet Calls, and that configuration is unknown.

I assumed this was still the case seeing there has been no updates.
