Sky recently installed. DECT phone not working

Sky installed Tuesday.

I know realise that the BT WiFi phones are not compatible. ( However, the engineer said they were) thanks to this forum I now know differently. Pity I didn't realise beforehand!

However the DECT BT phone doesn't work either, it rings in, yet no dialling tone. I've checked and apparently it is compatible with the sky hub.

@Georgie36 Is the voice light on the hub illuminated?

Is the phone plugged into the back of your hub?

Yes the voice light is illuminated.

Yes, phone is plugged into the back of the hub.

@Georgie36 as a first step, try turning off your Hub off at the plug for 10 minutes. If you have full fibre, turn off the ONT as well. If that doesn't help, it's possible that activation hasn't fully completed yet. That would not be unusual.

Well the new phones Panasonic are working. Bonus.

I did check if the BT DECT phone was compatible, but perhaps it wasn't. ( I know my WiFi BT phones weren't)

I will hang onto them anyway.

However thanks for your input.
