Do you need a specific phone to connect to Sky Talk broadband

Now that the copper lines are going.

my elderly mother still needs a landline; broad band has recently been installed her internet works but her phone is dead.

outreach have not been back despite reporting the problem to sky

@Anne154 no, a standard phone is all your mother needs. In the vast majority of cases the phone previously in use will work with Sky Internet calls, too. It does need to be plugged into her broadband Hub, however. It won't work if it's plugged into a wall socket.

And if she still has other phones plugged into old style phones sockets elsewhere in her house they'll no longer work.
