Do you really mean you're cancelling your TV Licence? You won't be able to watch any live TV etc if you do that.

As my title says I am a complete newby to Sky. or not really as I have not got |Sky, hence my question.

I am cancelling my TV licence at the same time as my phone will be going digital and all the other digital nonsence that is going on. I have been trying to get some information about what to expect from sky and how to get details on the landline that is supposedly vanishing. I am 76 so please reply in old English.

I think I need just the basic package that will give me TV, maybe WiFi calling for my mobile (very Bad reception area) and will my landline go through the hub and keep my number. How do I pay for the Landline and will I be able to get a call package. I do not talk well on the phone and cannot find any email address that I could use to contact Sky.

Any help directing me to the information would be very gratefully appreciated.

Welcome to the Community @Anonymous 🙂

Please see the answers below added in bold to your post.

@Anonymous wrote:

Wifi calling depends not only on you having (Sky) broadband, but also on whether it's available via your mobile provider.

Yes, your landline service will be via your broadband Hub.

You may be able to keep your number, but Sky won't guarantee it.

How do I pay for the Landline and will I be able to get a call package.

Your landline service is included with broadband. There's no additional charge, except for calls. Yes, there are several call packages availble, e.g. Evening and Weekends, and Anytime+ which provide inclusive calls for a monthly subscription.

I've included a link to the Sky Talk (landline) Tariff Guide, which gives details of the call packages available.

https://www.sky.com/help/sky-talk/talk-policies-and-info/sky-talk-user-manuals/articles/download-sky-talk-user-guides

I hope this helps. If you have futher questions by all means post again.
