Help with Phone Set Up

Hello, I am asking on behalf of my father in law for help on a few topics due to sudden memory loss. I will raise a separate discussion regarding his TV.

He no longer has the ability to use a cordless set up that he had 10 weeks ago when he had the base plugged into the back of the router. He cannot work a standard handset or TV remote, so we have had to buy a corded phone that shows pictures to aid him making calls.

My question is; is there a way to connect a second corded phone in a bedroom? Would a splitter work if I can find a cable long enough to reach his bedside?

Yes, and long RJ11 to BT jack cables are widely available online.
