Note at 26ppm plus 'set up fees' on UK calls alone it's easy to accumulate a really large bill on that tariff.

The mother-in-law signed up to have fibre and talk international which has a 24 contract. It has just been activated today.

She is now not sure she wants to be locked into Talk for 24 months, thinking it was 24 months for just the fibre bit which she is happy with. Is there a cooling off period for Talk seperately from fibre? Can she swap to Talk PAYG, or preferably just have a rolling 1 month talk international?

Unless your mother in law has been told differently, she should be able to change her calling package simply by giving Sky a call. There's unlikely to be a 24 months contract for it.
