      <title>No phone calls in or out since install</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I've no dial tone. Phones been down since installing the broadband and talk. Used the chat before and was told to check cables etc. boaught new cables to connect directly to the router and to the handset but nothing. Does the phone need to be a certain type if it's hardwired in?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's full fibre 500. Activated about a month ago. Didn't realise I had no phone for first two weeks. Installer was rough and rushed. Waiting on your pictures to be cleared.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Shouldn't matter how old the phone is skys phone adapter is backward compatible with any phone with a bt socket apart fro m bt digital voice.&amp;nbsp; The check phone line error could be down to the wire not being correctly inserted or faulty .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

They offered a £20 off the bill for missing weeks of no phone and said about connecting to the hub, which I've now done but there doesn't seem to be any joy.       <description>&lt;P&gt;It's two cables connected via a joining block. Perhaps that's the issue. No reason why either isn't working but I'll order a longer cable and try a one connection fix&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Has it been a mix and match before, always tricky, if it was working previous on the master socket, would expect it to be fine on the hub. You may just need to try phone elsewhere or new phone for the hub to test.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Sometimes you just get some stupid cables sent in phone boxes, but if worked before in the Master socket then who knows, time to do swaps or check phone elsewhere.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
