Is it plugged into the phone socket if so try plugging it into the router and see if that works

My broadband is working but my landline phone isn't I have done all the checks so I think I need Open reach to check my phone. I am becoming very concerned as I rely on my landline as I have elderly people who need to contact me. I have tried all evening to contact sky on this issue but it seems we keep going round in circles. So please can you do something

Was your land line working before what broadband do you have ?as I said try plugging your phone into your router and see if you get a dialing tone from there

@Cindy70 was your Sky phone line working ok up to the time it stopped working? Any upgrade to your broadband service? Did you ,manage to speak to an adviser when you called this evening?

Many thanks for all your help. I have now been able to speak to sky and they have instructed Open reach to sort the problem as it is just outside the boundary of my property. Hopefully it will be resolved within 2days.
