    <description>&lt;P&gt;In most cases they should have no reason not to port your number, but they just ignore the request. IT failure or incompetence. They must improve.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I got mine back after fighting with 15 agents, 3-4 hours wasted and without Internet for ~2 weeks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cancel and re-order with the port-in request clearly explained (most agents I spoke to don't get it; majority don't live in the UK).       <description>I recently moved from EE and requested that sky transfer my old landline number but this hasn't happened.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;All you can do is follow it up with Sky, but they do say that it's not always possible to keep your number.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
