had a home phone caller from sky security internet saying issues with security didn’t give no info to them hung up the number was a mobile number so i’m sure scam x

Yes. A scam. You were right to be suspicious.

If you answer and the caller asks for your telephone password (which a genuine Sky agent should) give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll be a scam call.

Domestic ISPs never call customers regarding such issues.
