      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes my phone is plugged into the back of the router, I'm getting a bleeping noise when I dial a number and a red light on my phone, it just doesn't connect, so unable to ring out or receive calls.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When was your broadband service activated? It can take 24 hours or so for the phone service to become operational. If it's longer than that, first try restarting your Hub, by switching it off at the plug for 30 seconds. If the phone still isn't working, it would be best to report it to Sky. If you wish we can ask their messaging team to contact you here so thay you can report it via a private online chat.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

My broadband is working ok it's just my landline has no dialling tone so can't make or receive calls. I would prefer to speak with someone. Broadband was fine just the landline at fault. They are running more tests over the weekend and if they can't solve the problem after 72 hours are sending out an engineer. I experienced it working briefly when it was first installed, but the engineer raised a problem when he installed (he didn't understand the way I have disabled wifi on the Sky router and instead use a TP link set of devices to distribute my wifi around my home) this seems to cause the Sky diagnostics a problem as it doesn't seem to like that the WiFi is disabled). &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but now I have no land line it is plugged into the appropriate port on the back of the sky router - I can hear the phone briefly poll when the router is rest and reboots. It very briefly rings. But if I pick up the handset I have no dialing tone. I also have no light on the 'voice' indicator on Sky router. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any advise gratefully accepted...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
