@JustKatie you just need a standard analogue phone. A VOIP phone won't work, nor, as you mentioned, will a BT phone designed to work with their Digital Voice service. A standard BT phone should be ok.

If you need to buy a new phone, I've always found a Panasonic m9del to work well

Landline on Sky Full Fibre

I've just had my Sky full fibre broadband installed and activated, all seems to be going fine so far. 🙂

I'm just wondering whether the landline connection on the Sky Max router will work with any phone? I got rid of my landlines years ago as I was with Virgin Media and their blocking facilities were rather primitive and so I didn't bother with a landline. Seeing that Sky Talk seems to have fairly decent nuisance call blocker facilities is making me consider having a landline again for occasional use.

I read somewhere that apparently VoIP phones sold by BT don't work with other providers. I just wondered if there are any other brands to avoid before I go ordering something off Amazon?

Thanks. 🙂
