Land line with sky not working

Hi my land line with sky is not working has been down since Friday, I have checked connections and plugs when I pick phone up to use it it just crackles can you please help as I am elderly and rely on this

Hello @Pat64 and welcome to the Community. Just so you know, we're mainly customers here but we'll do our best to help

A couple of questions: has your landline with Sky been working OK up to now? Does your phone plug into a wall socket?

Can you run the simple connection test here, even if y0ur broadband is ok: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

It worked until Friday and yes it does plug into a white socket I have checked all sockets plugging all in and out and phone dead, I can still press answer phone buttons and that works and phone says it is charged

If it doesn't find the fault, it's best to report it to Sky. You can either call them on your mobile or if you wish, we can ask Sky to contact you here so that you can report it via an online, private chat with them.
