Hi I am switching to Sky full fibre from full fibre elsewhere.

I have not seen any option for a sky provided phone. Do you need a specific phone or does a standard phone plug into the hub?

Thanks

Sky don't provide phone handsets.

Any standard phone should work. An IP or network phone won't work, nor will a BT phone designed for their digital voice service.

Do you know if I bought a phone with answer phone facility if that would work?

For example one like this https://www.currys.co.uk/products/panasonic-kxtgd620eb-cordless-phone-black-10181999.html

Yes, it should work fine. Panasonic is a good choice imo. Not that you're likely to, but don't activate Sky's Voicemail service as it may conflict with your answerphone.
