Yes. You don't have to transfer your existing phone number.

You cannot chose a specific number but a new number would be assigned as part of the home move

Hi @joric ,

You can port over your existing number when moving, or you can be assigned a new random number, you are not able to choose a specific new number, unless porting over an existing number you hold.
