Landline not working in or out

I have no ring tone to make outgoing calls, when I pick up receiver and press green button to get ringtone it's like it's already connected to a call but obviously no one is there. If I ring my phone it has engaged tone, can anyone help please, unplugged all phones etc and makes no difference

Are you new to Sky, or recently upgraded your broadband service? Or has your phone been working normally?

First try the connection test here, even if your broadband is working ok. If the test detects a fault you'll be able to book an engineer there and then. Otherwise you'll need to report it directly to Sky and they'll run a more detailed test.
