&lt;P&gt;See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Having same issue, started on Friday&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Phone display message "please check line cord"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have tried new cable as well as plugging straight into master socket.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Broadband is still working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have run service checker and no issues found&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My mum has an alarm system usually connected through the phone line in case she has a fall etc, I have disconnected this (as it's obviosly not working either) but no difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice welcome&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Mark, thanks for reply, I do understand it is an openreach issue and not Sky.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I called Sky to see if they could let me know when an engineer was booked for. While I was on hold I actually got a text from openreach to say a fault had been raised. Big thank you to her (really sorry can't remember her name) as she had quite a job getting it sorted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fingers crossed will be fixed soon&lt;/P&gt;</description>
