Are you new to Sky broadband? If your Sky broadband Hub has an LED labelled 'Voice' on the front panel and it's lit, is your phone plugged into the Hub?

You could try the simple connection test here. Ignore the fact that it says it's for broadband - it's the same copper line for both.

If that doesn't detect a fault it's probably best to report it to Sky. If you wish, we can ask the messaging team to contact you here via a private online chat so that you can do that.

I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates.

For the detail of how it works see this guide: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

Thanks for sorting the fault which is externally and waiting for engineer as you stated. Can I ask one thing. The broadband which was always working is now intermittent today, could this be related to to the external fault as well?
