number oddly blocked and answering machine issues

I recently switched to sky and have two odd problems:

1. Every time a family friend rings, they get a message telling them they are not allowed to call this number.

2. Every time we pick up the phone a voice says "This is an answering machine" and speaks over our conversation.

We changed handsets in case that was the problem, but the issue did not improve.

Is the one caller the only person that has an issue calling you or do others also have the same issue as this will need reporting to Sky with the number that is having this issue.

For the voicemail issue, that will need reporting to Sky so the free number to call tem on is just 150.
