two tone dial tone

When i pick up our phone the dial tone is two tone, suggesting that there are voicemails - but when I dial 1571 there are no message.

We also keep getting emails, supposedly from sky saying that we have to click on a link to get voicemails - wondering if the two are related. Not keen on clicking the links if they are phishing or a virus.

There's no indication on the Sky Talk call features page that they have any such service, so you'd be right to be wary.
