Cannot make or receive calls - bootedfrom phone helpline!!

Hi Sky

I just spent 15 minutes on hold to helpline only to get booted with a 'service not available' message Grrrrrrr...

My landline is not working. Broadband is fine. I have tried a corded phone at the master socket (all extensions disconnected) and the problem persists. When ringing the number and lifting the receiver a very faint ringing can be heard.

I think I had this before and a reset at the exchange was actioned. If only I could get through to Sky somehow !🤔

Update: I tried the 03 number provided at 20:30 ish on Friday 29th and it is an automated service that performs a line check. It found a fault and I was advised that BT Openreach will text me and repair in 2 days, no home visit needed.

Nothing heard yet hopefully Monday will see some action, fingers crossed....

That will have been 2 working days. The Openreach target fix times are 2 days but no guarantee.
