No dial tone

Phone been dead for 3 days no dial tone if I ring landline from another phone it rings from that end but no response from land line phone lights up but that's it tried to ring but was told 45 minute que really haven't got time waiting that long

See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:

I don't have sky broadband and as that's the only questions i get asked when I look at these help tools I'm at a ead end

What happens when you select the "Test my Connection" button as it should then run a test on your line.
