SMS text messages to landline not receiving on sky talk .

I have a sky talk landline connected phone. How can I receive sms texts to my landline..? Not getting my verification codes sent by Microsoft to landline number. Please help.

I believe it's a service that you would need to activate via Sky. It's not available on all Sky lines. Call them on 150.

This has just happened to me. Did you get it sorted. I phoned sky and they didn't seem to understand what I was talking about.

To confirm: you're not receiving text messages on your Sky landline?

Yes. When someone sent a sms text to the landline, the phone would ring and when you answer a robot says something like "you have received a text message from (phone number)" and then it reads the message. These messages are no longer getting through.

Just a thought - are you using Sky's Talk Shield that might be blocking the number? If not I'd suggest calling again. Hopefully you'll be connected to an adviser that knows about the service.

Just wondering because this has happened to me recently found out texts wasn't coming through my house phone like they used to there's no sky shield just not accepting texts anymore ive diverted all calls to my mobile would sky be able to divert the texts to ?

I have same problem .....bombarded by ringing from bt sms service....but unable to hear message so it just keeps coming .....9x in last 24 hours..including middle of night.Bt say sky should help but sky customer service seem confused by problem.

Same problem ....

regular calls from a robot saying I have an sms message. Press 1 to listen to it and 2 for help and more options. Neither option does anything nor can I delete the message. Any advice would be good.
