Cannot make or receive calls and mail box is full

Hello there,

Please could you offer some advice.

I cannot make or receive calls. It sounds as if the phone line is constantly open. Lots of crackelling, echoing etc. When i try to phone the landline from my mobile it states that the mail box is full and no room for anymore messages.

@billjess Do you have 1571 on the line. Do you just hear like there is no one on the other end of the line?

Many thanks for your reply. Yes we do have 1571. And it does seem like the call has not ended, but not disconnected.

Hi i have managed to call sky, who said it is a fault on the line and they are sending a engineer to trace the fault. Many thanks for your help.

@billjessCould you let the community know the outcome of the engineer visit and if the issue was reselved.
