Landline not working

My landline isn't working correctly.

it doesn't ring when I ring it from my mobile phone although I hear a dialing tone on my mobile. Checked the cables and it is all plugged in correctly. The main display is on the handset but doesn't show that a call is being made to it when I ring from my mobile? Have tried making a call from it to my mobile and it dials the number but doesn't connect?

See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:
