I have a DECT phone system with a REN of 1 that has worked fine when connected to my old analogue phone system. It also worked fine when connected via Vopdafone's VOIP router (similar to SKY's) but when on good ol' VDSL>

Since moving to Sky's full fibre, only the base station and one handset will ring. The other handsets do not. I cannot understand how this can be the case is SKY's ATA is a regular ATA. The othe rhandsets can answer calls and make calls but they just will not ring. Am I missing something?

As the base station is the only connection to the Hub, I can only guess that it's the only device that receives the ring signal from the 'line', and the base station itself sends a ringing signal wirelessly to the handsets.

Yes, that is my problem. I know that the base station is the only connection which is why I'm confused.

I also read a manual and research before turning to forums like this. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't cover the situation when things change just after moving to a Sky router!
