Unable to make or receive call

I was told by a friend that my landline wasn't working.
I tried restarting the router and managed to get broadband. But I couldn't make calls out and people couldn't hear me when they called me.

Yesterday I tried using the Sky assistant. I was close to banging my head against the wall - not artificial intelligence, but artificial stupidity. Totally useless.

I thought Shell energy was bad, but my first attempt at contacting Sky for help with my landline not working made me realise that Sky is just about as unhelpful.

I was advised that someone would make contact within 72 hours - that is a long time not to have a phone (mobiles don't work well in my area).

This morning 29th, they tried ringing me but couldn't hear me.

Yet I've just got a text message to say it's fixed but it isn't still can't dial out and incoming can't hear me.

PLEASE HELP ME

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will hopefully be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

I've kept trying my line and it is now sorted. I can hear people when they call and I can dial out .
