Ghost telephone calls

For the last two days I've had calls where when I answer it it hangs up. When I check the number it is 009196744<removed>. Does this allow them to hack my account?

Not directly. But as you've answered, it confirms to the caller that your number is active, and if the caller is someone out to scam you, you may receive further fraudukent or spam calls, so be wary. Make sure you can verify that the caller is genuine if you receive odd or unexpected future calls
