    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your reply, it did just happen out of the blue.&amp;nbsp; I borrowed a neighbour's phone to report the issue and Sky found a fault on the line which Openreach are booked to come and look at.&amp;nbsp; I just never realised that broadband could work whilst the phone line didn't!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My landline isn't working - there is no dial tone but the phone will still ring.&amp;nbsp; The phone is displaying the message check phone line.&amp;nbsp; A relative is in hospital and I need to be contactable.&amp;nbsp; My broadband is fine.&amp;nbsp; I have tried all the steps on the guide but they haven't helped.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I take it this was a mobile phone and not another landline phone to plug into your own line and that was working?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
