Don't know if this is possile. I know how to use my PC to connect with my mobile and get free calls but I need something else. Now that my landline is VOIP over my Sky router and I can connect handsets to talk over that - is there anyway to get my PC to do it as well? ie make the PC use the same system as the handsets. My mobile is never around when I need it, and many people ony know my landline number so being able to call out and receive calls on my PC using my landline number would be incredibly useful. I've searched the web and not found anything.

The only connection to Sky VOIP is via the phone socket at the back of the Hub, I'm afraid.

Thought that might be the case but surely its not an impossible thing to do - maybe Sky need to look at it????!!!!!

I doubt they will. As a mass market provider, I suspect they take the view that the vast majority of their target customers are content with just plugging their handset into the Hub, just as they would previously have plugged it into the wall socket.

You could, of course, look for an independent VOIP provider with more flexible connectivity options?
