From Sky's perspective call charges can only be added to your account if the call is made on your line. Conceivably that might happen if there's a fault, and I imagine they sent an engineer to check for that possibility.

The other possibility is that there's a device other than a phone attached to your phone line making the calls - an example would be a burglas alarm system. Have you checked your itemised bills for the number(s) apparently being dialled?

Hi all,

I keep being charged for calls on my sky talk but i don't actually have a landline telephone, this has been happening since July but i'm not getting any closer to getting this resolved with Sky, so far i've paid £35 in call charges that i haven't made.

Any one else experienced this?

Thanks

What have Sky said about it? Have they checked for any fault?

Hi, yes I've googled the numbers and they are to a hospital, doctors, theatre, dentist..

We just don't have a physical phone and I live alone with my 2 kids (12, 9) so explained this to sky and they sent the engineer but I've had call charges since so I'm just not sure what to do

I think all you can do is give Sky a further call to follow up the results of the engineer's visit and the referral you mentioned in your earlier post.
